He is LOUD, he is obnoxious at times, his poop is LARGE.....
and he is very beautiful.
All winter long, we have had him roaming around our farm, CAGE FREE!!
And he is always popping up somewhere to surprise us!
He is sometimes in our garage if our door is left open.
I haven't had my camera ready for that one though!
Peacocks CAN fly, but I was nervous he was going to get caught up in these branches.
And this morning, we awoke to some loud honking from our front porch....
as I type this post, he is still there, starring at himself through the door reflection....
Good morning, Felipe!
Have a great Sunday everyone!
~Kim
Is Felipe yours? Or wild? He certainly is a 'looker' isn't he. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, he IS ours alright! We raise peacocks but just haven't found him a lady friend yet ;)
DeleteIt looks as if Felipe may have fallen in love with himself!
ReplyDeleteHahaha....TRUE! Poor guy really needs a lil lady...
DeleteI DO feel lucky! And highly recommend you build your new home in the country, Holly!
ReplyDeleteFіrѕt off I woulԁ lіkе to ѕay great blog!
ReplyDeleteI had a quісk questіon in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Many thanks!

Hi Kim, it was so nice to meet you today at the Midwest Meet-Up! I wanted to thank you for the awesome green nail polish in the swag bag. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am really loving looking through your blog. I love your farm...your peacocks are just beautiful.

How cool to have a peacock~but, I always thought mAles were sO colorful, and fEmales were dull/white--??
How interesting to learn! But doesn't the poor guy have a mate? :' (
Catherine
Ohhh, I want a peacock or two one day when we move to the country--is he white? or albino? white? Wow!!
ReplyDeleteHe is white...and girl I could hook you up with feathers......I have tons of white and thousands of the more "popular" blue!
DeleteI am not a bird lover but that guy is beautiful! It's like he's asking to come in and see what's going on inside. So great...living in Orange County CA the only thing that tries to get in our doors are lizards...yuck!
