If you are new to reading my blog...I have taken on a challenge of writing about ONE TOPIC for 31 Days in October. The challenge was given to us by The Nester. And I am almost half-way through the month!!

Day 14

Day 14
Being married to your best friend is one of life's greatest blessings. The longer I am married, the more clear it is to me that "my home" is with him.
Believe me, it hasn't always felt that way...marriage IS a work in progress. Life HAPPENS, it gets messy and complicated....at that moment, the true meaning of marriage and our vows are even more important:
Here before God, family, and friends:
I do promise to share my hopes, dreams, and tears in marriage. I offer my heart when you are sorrowed, my hands when you are troubled, and laughter when you are happy. I love you for being my best friend- for now and forever. I'll be faithful to you, honor, and respect you- and with guidance from God- I take your name.
I love you....I am your wife.
I have been a Baileywife almost as long as I was not....
In the end, with God's help, we want it to be the two of us, sitting on our front porch of the HOME we built together...till death us do part.
I hope everyone can have that ONE person who is HOME to them. Thanks be to God for giving me my Baileyhusband....and I will end this post with some of my favorite quotes:
"The entire sum of existence is the magic of being needed by just one person"
-V. Putnam
"Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own."
-Robert Heinlein
"A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers."
-Ruth Bell Graham
